Hello!

I'm Ian Taylor

I started learning economics at Longwood University while earning my undergraduate degree. I soon discovered I had thought like an economist all my life so it was fun interpreting it from a scientific viewpoint.

After finishing my B.S. in Economics at Longwood, I came to Old Dominion University for my masters degree. I became a graduate teacher assistant my second semester and really enjoyed helping people learn to think like an economist. That led me into teaching at Thomas Nelson Community College the following summer through the Chancellor’s Graduate Student Fellowship.

I earned my M.A. in Economics at ODU and am now teaching courses in the Virginia Community College System. I have a love of integrating technology into the classroom to enhance learning. Over the past couple years, I've received 4 grants and presented 18 times at 13 conferences. I'm currently learning to program to gain a better understanding of these different technologies.

I have a loving wife, family, and friends and thank God every day.
